CueSlate Terms of Service
Basic terms for using CueSlate PDF share links.
1. Service Scope
CueSlate is a web service for creating PDF share links and uploading or replacing the PDF behind the same URL.
Checkout may not be connected yet. Published pricing and paid-feature descriptions may be informational while paid operations are being prepared.
2. Account and Link Management
The admin workspace is designed to let each signed-in user manage the share links and PDF files they created.
Users are responsible for the files they share, where they send links, whether a link remains active, and whether downloads are allowed.
3. File Retention and Deletion
Free share links and attached PDF files are automatically eligible for deletion 7 days after link creation.
When a user withdraws from the service or requests account deletion, connected share links and PDF files are processed for permanent deletion 7 days after the withdrawal or account-deletion action is processed. This grace period helps handle accidental deletion requests and operational deletion work.
Minimal records required for legal, security, incident response, or dispute-handling purposes may be retained separately where permitted by law and legitimate operating needs.
4. Limits of Download Restrictions
When the owner disables downloads, CueSlate does not expose download controls, print controls, or direct original-PDF paths in the viewer flow.
CueSlate is not a complete DRM system and cannot technically prevent every method of copying visible content, such as screenshots, screen recordings, or external photography.
5. Prohibited Use
Users must not upload or share files that infringe others' rights, contain illegal material, include malware, or improperly expose personal data.
Users must not disrupt the service, send abusive automated traffic, or attempt to access areas they are not authorized to use.
6. Contact
Questions about service use, deletion requests, or these terms can be sent through the CueSlate contact page.
