CueSlate Privacy Policy

How CueSlate handles service data, uploaded PDFs, and deletion after account withdrawal.

1. Information We Process

CueSlate may process email addresses, login identifiers, share-link titles, uploaded PDF metadata, and service usage records to provide login, per-user workspaces, share-link management, and support.

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message content may also be processed.

2. Files and Share Links

Uploaded PDF files are stored so CueSlate can show the share link and provide a replaceable PDF viewing flow.

Anyone who receives a public share link can open that link without a CueSlate account, so users are responsible for where they distribute links.

3. Retention and Deletion After Withdrawal

Free share links and connected PDF files are automatically eligible for deletion 7 days after link creation.

When a user withdraws from the service or requests account deletion, connected share links and PDF files are permanently deleted 7 days after the withdrawal or account-deletion action is processed. After deletion is complete, those files and links cannot be restored.

Minimal records needed for legal compliance, security incident response, abuse prevention, or dispute handling may be retained separately for the necessary period.

4. Usage Records and Analytics

CueSlate may process usage records such as access time, request path, browser information, and product events for service reliability, performance, debugging, and product improvement.

If view analytics are introduced, share-link owners may receive operational information such as total views, last viewed time, and referrers for their own links.

5. Service Providers

CueSlate may use hosting, storage, authentication, and analytics providers needed to operate the service.

CueSlate does not sell personal information. If a legal requirement or a separate user-approved arrangement applies, CueSlate will handle that case according to the applicable requirement.

6. User Rights

Users may request access, deletion, account withdrawal, or deletion of inquiry records related to them.

Requests can be submitted through the contact page and may require identity verification and operational processing.
